Frequently Asked Questions

1. How Many people and pets can you capture?

As many as you'd like! Ive captured up to 4 large size dogs with their owner for a single session. No group is too big, I emplore you to bring all the pets you can. Large groups are my favorite to capture they allow for the most creative freedom in the images,

2. I don't know what i want, can you Help?

Absolutely! Most people who book don't come with any specific ideas, they simply want to show up and be guided. That is exactly what I do. I'll prepare you for the session while guiding you through outfit decisions and creative concepts when needed.

3. Wha's you'r cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Cancelations are not permitted due to studio reservation policy. Although, all cancellations made -regardless of time frame- are permitted 1 free reschedule to my next availability. All bookings are allowed 1 free reschedule, a fee of $150 will be required for each additional reschedule.

4. How long do the sessions take

I've captured a session in as fast as 30 minutes and as long as 120 minutes. This is really up to the comfort of your pet. There is no rush for capturing the images as the allotted time is typically sufficient enough to capture what is needed.

5. How long till i Receive the images?

Images take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. They can be delivered sooner for a rush fee, which is determined by the date you wish to receive the images.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Absolutely! I reccomend going through my past client images to give you ideas on what you like. You can also bring any idea/inspiration you have yourself. The collage images fully depend on the cooperation of you pet, keep that in mind when brainstorming. Pick poses and ideas that fit your pets personality.

7. What Animals are allowed?

I can capture any sized animal - up to a very large dog breed - in my studio. All larger sizes will require a different studio with an additional fee. If you have a horse, we will figure it out. I would love to capture any insect, rodent, bird, fish, reptile or unconventional pet, including taxidermy.

8. My pet/I have epilepsy.

I do use an external strobe light to capture the images. I typically recommend searching for a natural light photographer. For those who are open to a different image style we can work together to create images that fit your wants without a strobe!

9. Can you walk me through the booking process?

Yes! Our booking process is straightforward and easy to follow. You'll be guided through scheduling and payment every step of the way. Once your booking is received, we'll contact you within 48 hours to discuss outfits, poses, and any ideas you have for your session. After everything is finalized, we'll send you the studio location along with our preparation guide to help you get ready. You'll also receive a final confirmation three days before your session.

10. CAN YOU WALK ME THROUGH THE shooting PROCESS?

Once you arrive, we'll give your pet time to get comfortable with the studio. Set out their favorite toy or comfort item and let them explore off leash. I recommend keeping interaction to a minimum at first and allowing Voltoio to introduce themselves, helping your pet feel more at ease.

While your pet settles in, I'll typically photograph the human solo portraits. Once they're comfortable, we'll begin capturing everyone together. If your pet needs a break, we'll take one and finish any remaining human portraits. Toward the end of the session, when pets are usually calmer, I'll capture their solo portraits and any specific poses needed for the final collages.

This is the typical flow of a session, but it's never a rigid schedule. Your pet's comfort and well-being always come first, and we'll let them set the pace.
